ED 70s MIJ Tobacco Les Paul Custom

$265. I was specifically looking for a Tobacco Les Paul.

This one seems to have nice build quality. The condition is excellent, very little fret wear. The headstock logo is inlaid Mother of Pearl like the fret markers. At first I thought it was a decal but you can see it's slightly recessed into ...

Re: Interested in a ED LP Custom for sale...thoughts?

The guy selling the tobacco sunburst never would reply to my emails, I presume since I needed it shipped.

However, he has dropped his price to $225 if anyone is interested in the Ottawa area.

Interested in a ED LP Custom for sale...thoughts?

This guitar has come up for sale. I've been looking for a MIJ LP Custom. It's a little too far to drive, so I'd probably have to get it shipped if the seller is willing.

Re: Korean El Degas Stratocaster (1990s?)

I've added some photos for reference in the first post. I also added that my local ROCM location was in Orangeville, Ontario. Unlike Brandon's school, it was a smaller studio with no retail showroom. The guitar was ordered through the Conservatory and shipped from stock stored somewhere.

Re: Korean El Degas Stratocaster [Pics Updated]

Charles,

I've noticed the generally accepted idea is that these MIK guitars ceased production in the late 80s. I can guarantee you that the guitar I own was purchased brand new, not used. Besides the MADE IN KOREA sticker on it with serial number, there is nothing to identify year of manufacture ...

Korean El Degas Stratocaster (1990s?)

I have a nearly identical guitar (as the one shown in http://www.eldegas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=655) except mine is black. Similar to yours, the finish covers everything except the fretboard which was painted, stained, dyed, whatever black as well.

I'm not too sure about this 80s thing, I ...
