GB81 - A product of J&B

Post by Carlooch »

My father gifted me this (my one and only acoustic) before I finished high school in the early 80s. I have done minimal work to it since, including removing the pick guard and replacing the nut and machine heads. This guitar has only improved in sound and appearance over the years despite fellow musicians laughing when I pull it out for a jam. Many are pleasantly surprised when I hand it over. As my father passed in 2001 it will always hold a place in my heart.

Welcome Carlooch
Your story is a touching one, and we'd love to see your dad's old guitar, but unfortunately, there is something lacking in your URL (likely public permission). It is only displaying the Google main search page. :?

Please double check.

Hi Carlooch, reach out to me if you need help posting your photos. I have a sticky post about posting photos here: viewtopic.php?t=1783

Sites such as imgur normally give you "IMG" tags of your photos so you can post them to forums like this one; or Google photos can give you a share link that you can insert in-between the opening and closing "IMG" tags like this:

Code: Select all

I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.

El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42  (13 bass, 26 electric, 3 acoustic)
