SOLD! El Degas Ibanez Artist(?) copy

Post by charles »

1970s MIJ (Made in Japan) "Artist" copy (I think this is a copy of an Ibanez Artist, but it has never been verified as such - either way, this guitar is smokin' :D )
Bolt on neck
ORIGINAL DiMarzio pickups! Super Distortion in the bridge and neck, with coil tap!

GREAT GUITAR that pains me to let go of, but I picked up another of this same model in neck-through so I need to make room.

SOLD

I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.

El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42  (13 bass, 26 electric, 3 acoustic)

Yup, she is a great guitar and definitely no reject - but... I didn't show you the one that replaced her (just waiting for new pickups and pickup rings):

OR the new one that was on its way that I had to make room for - arrived Monday:

I believe I sold mine for about $250 or so, can't quite remember. (the bolt-on)
Depending on condition you could probably ask anywhere from $150-400 or so, in my opinion. If it's neck-through I think you could go $300-600.
