Got it! Played it at jam night last night and then until 4:00 am. Another 2-3 hours today. Loving it.

Pics to come!

Do you agree that it's in fantastic shape and extremely sexy?

I get great tone from it...but I have to set the EQ up on my amp a lot different than my ED P Bass. Way up on the bass, and down on the mids and treble.

Boy that looks great.
I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.

El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42  (13 bass, 26 electric, 3 acoustic)

Everywhere I play it, gigs and jam nights...everyone is commenting on how great the bass sounds.

Makes me feel like money well spent. All in, my cost CDN is about $550 to get it in my hands.

It looks to be in just about mint condition. I bet it looks great on stage!

I paid $550 for this bass

It's the neck thru version. I also have the P bass version.

I too felt it was a bit much however it's a diamond in the rough. Then I spend $400 or custom pickups from MJS

It's a killer guitar now. World class. Such a variety of tones. I can say that I was on your heels for that EB0 copy. I had already emailed the guy before seeing your thread here. I'm glad you got it.

I guess the joy of the degas brand isn't just the quality but also the rarity of the items. Take for instance the rickenbacker copy I have. It's cheap $160. I've since put $210 into it and now it's a true contender. One of my favs. That list goes on just like that.

Ohh...Sam ,you were the guy that they were using me to leverage me into buying it soon because they had another buyer interested lol.

I happened to be in Chicago last week and stopped into their store. No El Degas...but lots of Vintage gear. Great town.
