Garnet amp - The Deputy I (model G190D) Head & 2x15 Cab & Planetwaves Amp cable
This rig sounds killer for either bass or guitar (I've done both).
Garnet was Canada's answer to Marshall amps - a vintage made-in-Canada brand that was often played by Randy Bachman of The Guess Who & BTO. This model, the Deputy I, was made to compete directly with Marshall (hence the name Deputy) and does a damn fine job of it. This is a tube head with hand wired point to point wiring - a gear-head's dream! They don't make them like this anymore.

You will be hard-pressed to find a rig that can push more air than this, through the closed back 2x15 cabinet.
I cannot do this rig justice any longer so it's time to go to a new home.
All tolex and grill-cloth in superb shape - this amp has been cared for. In great shape, actually has one/some of its original tubes if I recall correctly (I've had amp techs offer a lot of money for them). Works great but due to the age I am selling as-is.
Asking $SOLD
Prefer to sell together, but may consider separating - send offers for the head or cab.
Located in NW Calgary. I'm looking to sell to someone who can pick this up in Calgary (so you're probably best to be in Alberta or close to it). I also make occasional trips to Edmonton, Saskatoon, and the Rockies, so perhaps I can find a way to meet up with someone (who knows?)
